Cargo delivery from China to Ukraine

By sea the cargo takes around 70 days, by rail 35–45, by air from 10 days and typically about 14. There is no minimum shipment: we move a few cartons as consolidated cargo just as readily as full containers. The rate is fixed before departure and is not recalculated on arrival.

How this route works

Your shipment is assembled at our own warehouses in Guangzhou, Beijing, Yiwu and Hong Kong. Suppliers deliver the goods to the warehouse themselves, or we collect them with our own transport inside China. There we receive the cargo, check the number of packages, weigh and measure each one and — where required — inspect, repack and label it. All handling is done in China only, before departure.

Departures from our warehouses in China run daily by air, sea and rail, and once or twice a week by road. A shipment does not wait weeks for the next available sailing: as soon as it is assembled, it moves.

Sea cargo enters Ukraine through the ports of Odesa and Chornomorsk, and where necessary through Gdańsk or Constanța with onward road delivery. The rail route runs through the Małaszewicze border crossing in Poland. At the border you have two options: we clear the cargo with our own brokers and hand over a full set of documents for your accounts — or we deliver the cargo to the terminal for your own broker. The logistics rate is identical either way.

Once released, the cargo travels by road to any city in Ukraine — Kyiv, Odesa, Lviv, Dnipro, Kharkiv and others.

How to choose a mode

A rule that holds almost always: the more a product is worth per kilogram, the smaller the share freight takes in its landed cost — and the more sense it makes to move it quickly.

  • Sea — when the purchase is planned well in advance and 70 days does not break your sales plan. The lowest cost per kilogram.
  • Rail — when sea is too slow and air does not pay for itself: 35–45 days for moderate money.
  • Air — for expensive, light or urgently needed goods: samples, electronics, components that have stopped a production line.
  • Road — 25–30 days: 22–25 days to Poland plus another 3–5 to Kyiv. Road departures run once or twice a week.

With your quote you receive every relevant option in a single table, with transit times and figures. What drives the figure itself is set out on the What your rate depends on page. If you would rather not tie up cash for the length of the transit, there is purchase financing: we pay the supplier from our own funds and you settle after you receive the goods.

Air, sea and rail depart daily, road once or twice a week. An assembled shipment goes out on the next departure.
There is no minimum. We move a few cartons as consolidated cargo just as readily as full containers.
The rate depends on the density of the cargo, the product category, the mode of delivery, the season and the route, so it is calculated for each specific shipment. We fix it before departure and it is not recalculated on arrival.
Yes. We bring the cargo to the terminal and your broker takes it from there. The logistics rate does not change — you do not pay for a service you are not using.
