Air · from 10 days
Air freight from China from 10 days
Air is the fastest way to bring goods out of China: from 10 days, and typically about 14 from departure to your warehouse. Faster is arranged on request. The mode makes sense for expensive, light or urgently needed goods; for bulky, low-value cargo, sea or rail is the answer.
When air freight genuinely pays off
The arithmetic is simple: air wins when the cost of waiting exceeds the difference in freight.
That holds if the goods are expensive per kilogram — then delivery takes a small share of the landed cost. If a production line has stopped and the components are needed. If you are entering a season and two months by sea means the season will end before the cargo arrives. If this is the first batch of a new product and it has to be tested on the market before a large order.
If none of that describes you, flying the cargo means paying more for nothing — and we will say so plainly at the quotation stage. The cheaper alternatives are rail at 35–45 days and sea at 70.
How weight is calculated in air freight
Air freight is charged on the greater of two figures: actual weight or volumetric weight. Volumetric weight is calculated as length × width × height in centimetres divided by 6000. In other words, one cubic metre of cargo equates to roughly 167 kg.
The practical consequence: if your goods weigh less than 167 kg per cubic metre, you will pay by volume rather than by weight. Packing therefore has a direct effect on the invoice in air freight — an extra five centimetres in carton height costs money. That is precisely what we repack for at the warehouse in China.
Our own charter flights
We put the aircraft together ourselves
We arrange the flight ourselves, with no intermediaries — working directly with aircraft owners. That is why we control the departure date, the allocation of tonnage and whose cargo flies first.
A flight built around your cargo
For large volumes we assemble a flight for you, so there is no need to split the consignment across several shipments over a month. That is how we moved 60 tonnes of batteries by charter in 14 days — this and other case studies.
We do not depend on someone else's schedule
In peak season, when scheduled flights are fully booked, we still have the option of assembling a flight around your volume. And a charter rate is calculated from the tonnage of the aircraft, not from a broker's retail price list.
Route, documents and customs clearance
Air departures from our warehouses in China run daily. We are not tied to a single hub airport: we work through different airports depending on market conditions and choose, for each consignment, the route that is best on time and price. After arrival and customs clearance we deliver the cargo to your address in any city in Ukraine.
We prepare the documents in China, including the export declaration — even if the supplier has no export licence and you have no paperwork for the cargo. We also check the product range separately against air transport restrictions: batteries, liquids, aerosols and powders travel only with the correct documentation, and we handle that documentation.
Customs clearance is done by our brokers, or at the terminal by your own broker; the logistics rate is unchanged either way.
